There was a time when women's sports apparel was only available in the categories of sports men played. So, when Nike decided to launch its first dance apparel line before we sold the gear, we had to sell the idea that dance was even a sport. With the dancers we found in street castings signed as Nike atheletes, its safe to say we did our job.
